Immerse yourself in the serenity of our three picturesque fishing lakes, each teeming with an abundance of fish species, creating the perfect setting for both experienced and novice anglers.

Opening Times:

Gates open at 7am and close promptly(on a timer) at 7pm
During the winter day anglers must leave by dusk.
It is a case of turn up,set up on the bank where you’d like to fish and the Bailiff will come round and collect your money.
 
We don’t take bookings or reserve pegs so it is a first come first served basis here.
 
It is advisable to call on Fridays/Saturdays during the busy times of the year (Spring/Summer) when the weather’s good or Bank Holidays to check availability on the lakes.

Specimen Lake

  • Carp up to approx 45lb
  • Catfish up to approx 30lb
  • Barbel

Pleasure Lake

  • Mainly carp up to approx 30lb
  • Lots of carp 15 - 25lb

Match Lake

  • Carp from 1 - 12lb
  • Bream, roach and rudd
  • The odd tench and perch

Prices

Specimen Lake

  • Adults: £10 for up to 2 rods per person per day
  • Seniors(over 65's), disabled and under 16's: £7 for up to 2 rods per person per day
  • Must be age 13 or over to fish
  • Must be age 16 or over to night fish alone
  • 24 HRS fishing is £20, 48hrs is £40 etc. Under 16's are £12.50
  • Spectators/partners are free (max 2)

Pleasure Lake

  • Adults: £10 for up to 2 rods per person per day

Rules

Children welcome but must be under adult supervision at all times. Any noise must be kept to a minimum bearing in mind that anglers do come to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Please take all rubbish home with you. 
 
The same applies to dogs here, they must be kept on a lead at all times and loud barking will not be tolerated. Obviously any dog mess must be picked up.

NO BARBED OR MICRO BARBED
NO BRAIDED LINE
NO UNCOOKED TIGER NUTS
 
Random hook checks are carried out and the Environment Agency do randomly turn up so please have an up to date Fishing Licence.
 
A CRADLE or large padded unhooking mat WITH HIGH SIDES and a 42″ LANDING NET is a must if you are fishing the Specimen or Pleasure Lakes.
A normal unhooking mat and a landing net big enough to hold 12lb carp is sufficient on the smaller “Match” Lake.
 
During the drier months anglers are allowed to park next to their pegs on the Match Lake only which is ideal if you struggle with walking or have a disability.
